01Eligibility and acceptance

You must be legally able to use the service and agree to these terms; minors need a guardian’s consent and guidance. If you disagree, stop using the service. Keep account information accurate and safeguard access to your email and devices.

02Scope

subtitle.im currently targets YouTube in Chrome. Detection can make mistakes; YouTube captions can be restored.

03Trial

Each installation can process 10 different videos free. The allowance does not renew monthly; only successful caption closures count, and reinstalling may reset the local record.

04Prices and subscriptions

Monthly, annual and one-time prices are proposed. Purchases are unavailable. Billing periods, taxes, renewal and cancellation will be disclosed at checkout.

05One-time access and refunds

License scope, updates, device limits and refund policies will be defined before payment opens.

06Orders, renewal, cancellation and refunds

Displaying a plan or clicking a purchase button does not complete a sale. Once sales open, the checkout will show the actual seller, total price, currency, taxes, billing period, automatic renewal and cancellation method before payment. Orders and benefits depend on seller payment confirmation and our server records. If a subscription renews automatically, you may cancel future renewals using the method provided at checkout or by the seller. Access for a paid period and refunds follow the disclosed purchase terms and applicable statutory rights. One-time access does not renew automatically; its license scope will be stated before purchase.

07Accounts and access

The free allowance stays with this installation and requires no email. When email sign-in and extension pairing become available, use an address you control and protect your sign-in links and device access. Signing in alone does not activate Pro; purchased Pro benefits are linked to the relevant account. Do not share or resell access or bypass paid licensing limits. Report unauthorized use through the published support channel.

08Acceptable use

You may use the product for your own ordinary viewing. Do not use it to infringe others' rights, disrupt the website or licensing service, abuse APIs through automation, or bypass technical limits. You must also follow the applicable rules of YouTube, Chrome and other third-party services you use.

09Caption results and third-party services

Embedded-caption detection may be wrong because of image quality, caption position, language or insufficient evidence. The video determines whether switchable captions are available. You can restore or adjust captions manually. YouTube videos and captions come from their respective owners or platforms; we cannot guarantee continued availability or grant additional rights to third-party content.

10Intellectual property

The subtitle.im website, extension, brand and original content belong to their respective rights holders. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product under these terms. Buying a plan does not transfer ownership of the product. You keep any legal rights in your own content.

11Changes and suspension

We may update the product to fix bugs or address security and compatibility, and will give reasonable advance notice of changes that materially affect purchased benefits. We may temporarily suspend related functions for security risks, abuse or outages. Where practicable, we will explain why and offer a path to restoration.

12Liability and statutory rights

We take reasonable care to maintain the service, but cannot promise perfect detection or uninterrupted availability of third-party platforms. Check automated caption decisions yourself in important situations. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

13Changes to these terms and contact

This page shows its update date. We will announce material changes through the website or enabled account channels before they take effect. Changes will not retroactively remove benefits expressly promised in a completed purchase. For questions or disputes about use, licensing or transactions, contact us through the published support channel on the help page. See the Privacy Policy for personal data handling.

14Disputes, applicable law and contact

For product, account or license questions, use the contact shown on this page. For payment, receipts, cancellation or refunds, contact the actual seller through the checkout channel. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights or statutory remedies; applicable sale conditions will be confirmed before sales open.
